Renechip Technology Services is looking for skilled and experienced Mechanical Interiors Engineers to join our engineering team in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities & SkillsCandidates should have strong experience in:
- Sheet metal component design, material & thickness selection
- Knowledge of materials and mechanical characteristics
- Weight assessment of assemblies, aggregates and installations
- Analysis of manufacturing non-conformities and validation of backup solutions
- Integration of manufacturing requirements into design
- Dimensional stack-up analysis
- Fastener selection and joint design
- Selection of suitable designs based on assembly criticality
- Engineering drawings, drawing standards and GD&T;
- Working knowledge of ASME, DIN, EN and ISO standards
- Hands-on experience with CATIA V5 for 3D/2D design
- Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA PLM platform
- Mounting definition for subsystems considering boundary conditions and potential failure modes
- Basic calculations for screwed/bolted assemblies
- Knowledge of Sheet Metal and FRP will be an added advantage
Candidate Profile✔ 3–8 years of relevant mechanical design experience
✔ Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5
✔ Positive understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
✔ Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T;
✔ Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering teams
✔ Good analytical and problem-solving skills
