Role Description
Looking for a Marketing Manager who can set directions, keep the agencies accountable, connect marketing to sales, and make sure things ship on time and deliver results.
This is not a pure execution role or a pure strategy role. You'll plan, coordinate, push, and step in hands-on when needed. You'll work directly with the founders, move quickly, and take charge without waiting to be asked.
The role is based in India. You'll work closely with our team in Canada and must be comfortable with regular overlap with Canadian time zones (Eastern/Pacific).
Qualifications
- 5–7 years in marketing,
with direct experience managing performance and/or content agencies.
- A strong grasp of performance marketing (Meta, Google, LinkedIn) and funnel metrics. You know enough to challenge an agency, not just approve its work.
- A high-ownership mindset: you treat results as your own, follow through without reminders, and raise problems early.
- Initiative: you spot gaps and fix them before being asked.
- Comfort with ambiguity, changing priorities and a fast pace. You've worked in a startup or scale-up before.
- Organized and detail-oriented, able to run several workstreams and deadlines at once.
- Clear, direct communicator with agencies, founders and internal teams.
- Working knowledge of CRM and marketing tools, analytics and reporting.
- Experience planning or coordinating events remotely or across geographies, ideally in North America.
- Willingness to work flexible hours for regular overlap with Canadian time zones, and to support live events outside Indian working hours.
- Ability and willingness to travel to Canada occasionally.
- Solid plus: Experience in fintech, financial services, real estate or prop-tech; marketing to NRI or diaspora audiences; understanding of Canadian or North American NRI audiences, or experience marketing to international audiences from India.
