About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting, billing, GST, vendor payments, customer outstanding, and financial records for our transport and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping.
- Handle GST, TDS, e-invoicing, and statutory compliance.
- Prepare and verify customer invoices, purchase bills, diesel bills, and expense bills.
- Track customer receivables and vendor payables and follow up for outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, customer ledgers, vendor ledgers, and GST records.
- Verify trip-wise expenses, driver advances, diesel expenses, tolls, and other operational costs.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense reports, outstanding reports, and profitability statements.




- Coordinate with operations and commercial teams regarding billing and payment issues.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
- Assist management with financial analysis and cost control.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting, and taxation.
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP and MS Excel.
- Experience in the transport/logistics industry will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of receivables, payables, reconciliation, and billing.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Candidate

A candidate who has experience handling accounts for a transportation/logistics company, understands trip-level expenses and billing, and can independently manage the company’s day-to-day accounting function.
