Job Description: Sr/Stores Executive

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Stores Executive to oversee our warehouse and inventory operations. In this role, you will manage day-to-day material receipts, store maintenance, stock optimization, and internal dispatching. The ideal candidate ensures that high-value materials (like premium leather, fabric, and foam) are tracked seamlessly, preventing production delays while maintaining absolute accuracy in inventory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Inventory & Stock Management:
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels using the ABC analysis approach.
- Maintain strict adherence to Minimum-Maximum (Min-Max) stock levels to prevent overstocking or sudden material shortages.
- Implement standard material issuing workflows such as FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to prevent shelf-life degradation of raw materials.
- Receipts & Verification:
- Unpack, inspect, and count all incoming raw materials, consumables, and hardware accessories against suppliers' packing lists and Purchase Orders (PO).
- Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) immediately for any damaged materials or delivery discrepancies.
- Coordinate closely with the Quality Assurance (QA)



team to ensure incoming raw materials are certified before moving to production racks.
- Documentation & Systems Data Entry:
- Generate accurate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Delivery Orders, and internal Material Issue Slips within the ERP/inventory system in real time.
- Maintain updated physical stock registers, challans, and transaction logs without backlogs.
- Warehouse Upkeep & Material Handling:
- Organize storage racks systematically with proper labeling, item codes, and status tags for efficient retrieval.
- Uphold 5S warehouse standards to maintain a highly organized, safe, and clutter-free store environment.
- Lead monthly and quarterly physical inventory cycle counts and reconcile variants against ERP records.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Partner smoothly with the Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments to support timely order fulfillment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in stores management, warehousing, or raw material inventory (experience in automotive accessories, manufacturing, upholstery, or retail apparel is highly preferred).

- Technical Proficiencies:
- Strong hands-on experience operating inventory management software, ERP systems (such as SAP MM, Tally, or proprietary manufacturing software).
- Proficient in MS Excel (for tracking tables, formulas, and inventory data sheets) and MS Word.
