As Manager, Formulation Lab, CEC and Demos, you will lead a team that serves as a critical innovation and activation engine, transforming scientific capabilities into customer-relevant solutions, demonstrations, and experiences that accelerate biosolution adoption and business growth. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will help bring innovative formulation concepts to life and strengthen customer engagement through compelling proof-of-performance experiences.

The role & your impact

This is a people leadership role with regional responsibility across MEIA. You will lead innovation, reformulation, demonstration, and laboratory activities while ensuring effective resource utilization, operational excellence, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Your work will help translate technical opportunities into differentiated customer solutions, strengthen customer understanding of biosolutions, and support sustainable business growth.

Your Key Responsibilities In This Role

- Lead, develop, and inspire a multidisciplinary team through coaching, performance development, succession planning, and a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Drive effective resource allocation and prioritization across the regional innovation and reformulation portfolio to ensure successful and timely project execution.
- Own the end-to-end HHC demonstration strategy, including the development of customer-facing demos, demonstration toolboxes, workshops, customer experiences, and innovation showcases that communicate the value of biosolutions.




- Oversee the operation of the Formulation Laboratory and Customer Experience Centre, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, laboratory governance, and operational excellence standards.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Service, Sales, Marketing, Applied Research, and Global Innovation teams to support customer engagements, identify innovation opportunities, and translate technical capabilities into business impact.

What You'll Need To Be Successful In This Role

- Master’s degree or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- 8-12+ years of industrial experience in formulation development, application development, technical service, R&D;, innovation, or related technical functions within Home Care, Household Care, Consumer Goods, Specialty Chemicals, Ingredients, Biosolutions, or similar industries.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and building high-performing technical teams.
- Experience managing resources, priorities, and multiple projects across different stakeholders and business needs.
- Experience developing and delivering customer-facing demonstrations, innovation showcases, or technical workshops.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across regional and global functions.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Working conditions

Bengaluru, India. This role is based in the office five days per week and includes less than 20% travel.
