Role Description MANAGER – CONTRACTS & QSD

Experience: 15–20+ years

Location: Mahabalipuram

Role Purpose

Lead all contractual, procurement and QSD activities required for timely and cost-effective delivery of the monument.

Key Responsibilities

● Prepare and manage procurement packages.

● Lead tendering and contractor selection.

● Prepare commercial evaluations.

● Manage contracts from award through completion.

● Issue work orders, verify bills and certify them

● Administer variations,



claims and extensions of time.

● Monitor contractor performance.

● Manage vendor negotiations.

● Establish procurement schedules for long-lead items.

● Coordinate quarry, CNC, construction and specialist contracts.

● Monitor commitments, expenditure and cash flow.

● Maintain commercial risk registers.

● Coordinate with planning and technical teams.

● Prepare management-level commercial reports.

Qualification

M tech / BE Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law or related discipline.

Preferred Experience

Major infrastructure/building projects, EPC contracts, stone procurement, specialist equipment and complex subcontract packages.

Profile

Senior contracts qualified with strong construction-commercial expertise and experience handling complex multidisciplinary projects.
