Role Description The Learning and Development Specialist will design, implement, and evaluate learning programs that strengthen technical, safety, and leadership capabilities across the organization. This full-time, on-site role based in Rajula involves conducting training needs assessments, developing structured learning paths, and creating instructional materials aligned with SDHI’s operational and strategic goals. The specialist will coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and coaching interventions,



while managing learning systems and tracking participation, progress, and outcomes.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with functional leaders to identify skill gaps, supporting compliance-related training, and continuously improving programs based on feedback and performance data. The role will also contribute to building a learning culture that supports employee development, operational excellence, and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Training & Development, including needs analysis, program design, facilitation, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Learning Management and the use of learning management systems (LMS) or similar platforms to administer and track training.
- Skilled in Instructional Design, with the ability to create transparent, engaging, and practical learning content for diverse audiences.
- Excellent Communication capabilities, including presenting, stakeholder engagement, and clear documentation of learning initiatives.
- Coaching skills to support individual and team development, performance improvement, and on-the-job learning.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field; advanced certifications in L&D; or instructional design are an advantage.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, maritime, defence, or heavy engineering environments is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Rajula, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple training projects in a dynamic operational setting.
