Job Role: Lead – Strategic Initiatives | CEO’s Office

About the Role:

We are looking for a strategy professional to work closely with the CEO’s Office on initiatives that drive business performance, profitability, operational efficiency and long-term growth.

The role will focus on identifying and driving strategic opportunities across the EPC business, including cost optimisation, process and operational efficiency, product/value enhancement, business performance improvement and new strategic initiatives.

The person will work closely with business and functional stakeholders to understand business challenges, analyse data and processes, evaluate opportunities, develop actionable recommendations and drive initiatives through implementation. This is a hands-on strategy and execution role where the individual will be expected to move beyond analysis and presentations to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic & Business Initiatives

- Work closely with the CEO’s Office to identify and execute high-impact strategic initiatives.
- Translate leadership priorities and business objectives into structured initiatives with clear outcomes, timelines and success metrics.
- Evaluate business challenges and opportunities through commercial, operational and financial analysis.
- Develop business cases, recommendations and implementation plans for strategic initiatives.
- Track strategic initiatives and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely execution and measurable outcomes.

2. Cost Optimisation & Business Performance

- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency, resource utilisation and overall project profitability.




- Analyse project and business-level cost structures to identify leakages, inefficiencies and opportunities for optimisation.
- Work with Finance, Procurement, Projects and other relevant teams to develop and implement cost optimisation initiatives.
- Evaluate business performance against budgets, plans and defined KPIs and identify areas requiring intervention.
- Develop frameworks and dashboards to track the impact of key initiatives.

3. Process & Operational Excellence

- Identify gaps, bottlenecks and inefficiencies across processes and recommend improvements.
- Review existing ways of working and identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation, automation and scalability.
- Work with functional teams to redesign processes and drive implementation.
- Develop SOPs, governance mechanisms, performance metrics and review frameworks where required.
- Monitor post-implementation outcomes to ensure improvements are sustained.

4. Product & Value Enhancement

- Identify opportunities to enhance the value proposition, product offering and customer experience within the EPC business.
- Analyse customer requirements, market trends, competitor practices and business performance to identify areas of opportunity.
- Evaluate new products, services,



technologies and solutions that can improve customer value or business profitability.
- Support pilots and proof-of-concepts and assess their commercial viability before wider implementation.

5. CEO’s Office & Special Projects

- Support the CEO and leadership team on high-priority strategic and special projects.
- Conduct structured analysis on ambiguous or complex business problems and develop actionable recommendations.
- Support leadership in preparing for business reviews, strategic discussions and key management meetings.
- Take ownership of recent initiatives where the problem statement may not be clearly defined and create a structured approach to solve it.

Professional Experience & Industry Background

- 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in strategy, business consulting, business transformation, corporate strategy, business planning, operational excellence, program management or similar roles.
- Prior experience in Real Estate or other project-driven businesses is strongly preferred.
- Experience working on cost optimisation, process improvement, business performance, commercial strategy or strategic initiatives will be preferred.
- Exposure to working directly with CXOs, founders, business heads or senior leadership teams will be an advantage.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects from problem identification through implementation is preferred.
- Candidates must be based in Mumbai.

Educational Qualifications

- MBA / PGDM from a leading institution such as IIM / ISB or equivalent.
- Outstanding people and analytical skills
