About the Role :

We are looking for a Lead Developer – ETL who combines strong technical expertise with the communication skills, maturity, and ownership expected from a Lead-level professional.

This is a hands-on technical role focused on ETL development, SQL, scripting, system integrations, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving. The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of complex technical issues, working independently, interacting with U.S.-based teams and customers, and driving issues through to resolution.

We are looking for someone who can understand a requirement, analyze the problem, design the right technical solution, and implement it hands-on.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute ETL development, implementation, and integration activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes, scripts, workflows, and system integrations.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database scripts.
- Perform technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution of application and integration issues.
- Analyze system issues and identify practical, scalable technical solutions.
- Work with databases, APIs, backend systems, and enterprise applications.




- Review existing processes and identify opportunities for technical improvements and optimization.
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear implementation approaches.
- Take ownership of complex technical issues from investigation through resolution.
- Work closely with U.S.-based engineering, product, implementation, and customer teams.
- Clearly communicate technical issues, solutions, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in technical discussions with customers and provide clear and confident explanations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other developers when required.
- Review scripts, SQL, and technical implementations for quality and performance.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for solutions, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Manage priorities independently and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.

Must Have Requirements:

- 7+ years of strong hands-on development experience, preferably in ETL, backend development, integrations, or similar technical environments.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including complex queries, joins, stored procedures, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Strong scripting and programming skills.
- Strong experience troubleshooting technical, integration,



and application issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of databases, APIs, integrations, and backend systems.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex technical issues independently.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- Strong professional maturity, ownership, and accountability.
- Ability to independently manage priorities and deliver technical solutions.
- Comfortable working during U.S. night-shift hours.

Good to Have:

- Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
- Experience with enterprise software implementations.
- Experience with ETL tools and frameworks.
- Experience with system integrations and APIs.
- Experience working directly with U.S. customers or global implementation teams.
- Experience in a Lead Developer, Technical Lead, or Senior Engineer capacity.
- Experience supporting production environments.

What We Are Looking For This is a hands-on implementation role, not simply a coordination or support position. We want someone who can understand a requirement, think through the solution, and write the code when needed.

Because this position requires U.S. night-shift hours, reliability and commitment to the work schedule are particularly important. Candidates should be comfortable with the schedule and able to consistently work during the agreed hours.

Working Hours: Comfortable working in the 5:30 PM IST – 2:30 AM IST shift.
