We are looking for an experienced L2+ Hitachi Storage Administrator with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise Hitachi storage environments.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Solid hands-on administration of Hitachi VSP storage.
- Expertise in Hitachi Ops Center, RAIDCOM and Hitachi Command Suite.
- Hands-on remote/local replication experience with TrueCopy, Universal Replicator (HUR), ThinImage and ShadowImage.
- Strong Brocade/Cisco SAN administration, zoning and troubleshooting experience.
- Advanced storage performance analysis, capacity planning and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with day-to-day SAN/storage administration, DR planning, testing, failover/failback and troubleshooting.
- Automation exposure using Bash, PowerShell or Python.
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS, Linux/Windows environments and NFS/CIFS.
- Experience with ITIL processes, documentation, incident/change management, vendor coordination and cross-team troubleshooting.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills.
- Hitachi Vantara certification is preferred.
Important: Candidates must be currently based in Mumbai, able to work onsite, and available to join immediately or within 20 days.
Profiles without hands-on Hitachi VSP and required Hitachi tools/replication experience will not be considered.
