Role Description

This is a full-time, in office Video Editor (Junior – Mid Level) role based in Coimbatore.

The Video

Editor will work closely with the creative and social media teams to edit short-form and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and podcasts. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, selecting the best takes, adding transitions, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics, and ensuring brand consistency across all outputs. The role also involves color correction and grading, optimizing videos for different formats and platforms, and collaborating on concepts and storyboards to bring ideas to life.

The Video

Editor will be expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance overall content quality.

Qualifications





- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with the ability to assemble, refine, and finalize content for digital platforms.
- Strong knowledge in Personal branding and Podcast Video editing
- Proficiency in Video Colour Grading to ensure consistent visual tone, mood, and quality across all projects.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Understanding of social media formats and best practices for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow brand guidelines and feedback constructively.
- Relevant education in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing, colour grading, and motion graphics work is required.
