Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Hyderabad.

The Service

Engineer will install, commission, and configure laboratory equipment and vacuum systems at customer locations, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing technical issues, and executing repairs or replacements of components. The role involves providing technical support,



training end users on equipment operation and care, and documenting service activities, reports, and recommendations.

The Service

Engineer will collaborate with the internal technical and sales teams, coordinate field service visits, manage service parts and tools, and support continuous improvement of service processes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for laboratory equipment and vacuum systems.
- Hands-on field service experience, including on-site installation, commissioning, and customer support.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers, explain technical issues clearly, and provide user training.
- Technical support capabilities, including remote assistance, issue tracking, and coordination with internal teams.
- Proficiency in maintenance & repair activities, including preventive maintenance, part replacement, and equipment calibration.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical/mechanical drawings, and service documentation.
- Willingness to travel for field visits and work in laboratory and industrial environments as required.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory workflows, vacuum technology, or scientific equipment is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
