Junior Associate - Content Writer

Position Overview

BrandStory is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Writer with 1–2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong writing and research skills and the ability to create engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly content for different industries and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Write high-quality content for websites, blogs, landing pages, social media, case studies, and marketing campaigns.
- Research topics and understand the target audience before creating content.
- Conduct basic keyword research and naturally incorporate relevant keywords.
- Create engaging, clear, and grammatically correct content.
- Write content optimised for Google Search and user intent.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, ideation, content creation, and optimisation.
- Edit and proofread content to maintain quality and consistency.
- Repurpose existing content into different formats when required.
- Work closely with the SEO, Social Media, and Marketing teams.
- Handle multiple content requirements and meet deadlines.
- Research competitors and industry trends to identify content opportunities.

Required Skills

- Excellent English writing and communication skills.
- Strong research and content-writing skills.




- Good understanding of SEO and keyword usage.
- Ability to write different types of content and adapt the tone for different audiences.
- Strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with AI content tools, especially ChatGPT.
- Ability to understand content briefs and deliver accordingly.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Experience & Qualification

- 1–2 years of experience in content writing, copywriting, SEO content writing, or digital marketing.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates should have a portfolio or samples of previous work.
- Experience working with a digital marketing agency is an added advantage.
