Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Android Developer with hands-on experience in Android application development. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin, Android SDK, REST APIs, Room Database, and modern Android development practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
- Upgrade, configure, debug, and enhance existing applications.
- Develop new features and applications from scratch.
- Integrate Android applications with server-side APIs and external data sources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver recent features and improvements.
- Identify and resolve application bugs, performance issues, and technical bottlenecks.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following development best practices.
- Perform unit testing to ensure application reliability and robustness.
- Ensure applications deliver optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness.




- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong knowledge of Java and Kotlin; Kotlin experience is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of Android SDK.
- Knowledge of Room Database and SQL queries.
- Experience consuming REST/SOAP web services.
- Good understanding of Retrofit / Volley for web service integration.
- Experience handling JSON and XML responses.
- Knowledge of Design Patterns, Data Structures, and Algorithms.
- Experience with unit testing.
- Proficiency in Git and Bitbucket.
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
