Junior Accountant

Position: Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and follow up on outstanding customer payments.

Handle Accounts Payable (AP), including vendor invoice verification and payment processing.

Coordinate with clients for payment collections and regular follow-ups.

Prepare and reconcile customer and vendor statements.

Record daily accounting transactions accurately in the accounting system.

Process invoices, credit notes, and payment entries.

Assist with bank reconciliation and cash-flow monitoring.

Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documents.

Coordinate with internal teams regarding billing and payment-related queries.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities.





Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. B.Com/M.Com preferred.

0–2 years of accounting experience. Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply.

Good understanding of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

Basic knowledge of GST and TDS is an added advantage.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Odoo, Tally, or similar ERP.

Valuable communication and follow-up skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
