About AlmaED
AlmaED offers 1-on-1 mentoring for students preparing for board exams, JEE and NEET. It's run by a team of students from IITs, NITs and AIIMS. Every student gets:
- one dedicated mentor
- a personal study plan
- an assignment after every class
- weekly tests
- regular doubt-solving
- progress updates for their parents
Our students study with us from across India and abroad.
The role
We're looking for mentors who have cleared JEE or NEET and want to help the next batch do the same. You'll teach students one-on-one, online and at their own pace, and stay with them through their preparation.
What you'll do
- Take 1-on-1 online classes on Google Meet in Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology
- Understand how each student learns, and plan classes around their pace and level
- Give an assignment after every class and review it
- Set and review weekly tests to track progress
- Clear doubts between classes through AlmaED's channels
- Share short progress updates with the AlmaED team, who keep parents informed
- Keep all communication with students and parents on AlmaED's channels
Who we're looking for
- You're currently studying at an IIT, NIT or AIIMS (recent graduates are welcome too)
- You've cleared JEE (Main/Advanced) or NEET-UG
- You have a strong grip on Class 11–12 PCM or PCB
- You're patient and good at explaining things simply
- You're comfortable teaching in English; Hindi or a regional language is a plus
- You have a laptop and a secure internet connection (a pen tablet is a bonus)
- You're available for at least 3-4 hours a week
