Role Description The Implementation Engineer role at Redacto is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for implementing Redacto’s data privacy solutions for new and existing customers, including configuring software, integrating systems, and validating deployments.

The Implementation

Engineer collaborates with project managers, product teams, and customer stakeholders to gather requirements, plan implementation steps, and ensure successful go-lives. Day-to-day activities include troubleshooting technical issues, providing hands-on support during deployments, documenting implementation processes, and training customer teams on best practices. The role also involves continuously improving implementation methodologies and contributing feedback to enhance product features and customer experience.

What You'll Do

Implementation and configuration

- Run implementations from kickoff to go-live across Redacto's modules




- Configure the platform for each client: users, roles, workflows, notices, consent forms, assessment templates and approval flows
- Set up client tenants, environments and settings in both UAT and production, and keep the two in sync
- Turn client requirements into working configuration, and push back when a requirement doesn't make sense

Integration

- Integrate Redacto with client systems using REST APIs, webhooks and SDKs
- Place our web and mobile SDKs on client websites and apps, working with the client's developers
- Connect Redacto to client CRMs, marketing tools, ticketing systems and internal applications
- Debug integration failures using browser dev tools, API logs and Postman
- Use SQL to check data, reconcile records and investigate issues

Client delivery

- Run requirement-gathering calls, solution walkthroughs and UAT sessions
- Be the hands-on technical contact for the client's IT and application teams
- Support go-live and the hypercare period after it, and resolve issues within agreed timelines
- Track tasks, risks and blockers, and escalate early

Documentation and product feedback

- Write implementation runbooks, configuration documents and handover packs
- Write reusable scripts, templates and checklists that make the next implementation faster
- Pass feedback from the field to the product team: bugs, gaps and feature requests with clear reproduction steps
