Role Description The HSE Manager (Data Centre and Construction) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gujarat, India. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures for data centre and construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits; ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards; and leading accident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.

The HSE Manager will design and deliver safety training programs, maintain accurate documentation and reports, and coordinate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to promote a strong safety culture.



The role also involves continuous review of HSE performance metrics and recommending improvements to reduce incidents and enhance overall safety and environmental performance.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with the ability to design and implement comprehensive HSE management systems for data centre and construction environments.
- Strong knowledge of Occupational Health principles, including hazard identification, exposure control, and promotion of worker well-being on construction and technical sites.
- Proven experience in Accident Investigation, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and development of preventive and corrective action plans.
- Ability to plan and deliver effective Training programs on safety procedures, emergency response, and regulatory compliance for diverse site teams.
- Familiarity with relevant Indian HSE regulations, codes, and standards applicable to construction and data centre operations.
- Experience working on large-scale construction or industrial projects; data centre project experience is an advantage.
- Robust communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to influence and embed a proactive safety culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Gujarat, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and respond effectively to changing operational needs.
