Role Description The HSE Manager (Manufacturing and Construction) at Nexfore Consulting is a full-time, on-site role based in Gujarat, India. The role involves developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across client manufacturing and construction sites. The HSE Manager conducts risk assessments, leads safety inspections and audits, and oversees accident and incident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions.
Daily responsibilities include coordinating and delivering HSE training programs, maintaining regulatory compliance documentation, and supporting certification and licensing requirements. The role collaborates closely with project teams, operations,
and senior leadership to promote a robust safety culture and continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Health & Safety and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), with experience in manufacturing and construction settings.
- Candidates should possess skills in Occupational Health, including risk assessment, workplace hygiene, and preventive health measures.
- Candidates should possess accident investigation skills, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Candidates should possess training skills, with the ability to design and deliver HSE training programs for diverse workforce groups.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are an advantage.
- Knowledge of applicable Indian safety and environmental regulations, standards, and best practices in manufacturing and construction.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive safety culture on site.
- Proven ability to prepare reports, maintain documentation, and use basic digital tools (MS Office or similar) for HSE management and analysis.
