Role Description The Home Consultant role at Pepperfry is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. In this role, the Home Consultant guides customers through their home furnishing journey, understanding lifestyle needs and recommending suitable furniture, décor, and design solutions. The position involves welcoming and engaging visitors at the Studio, conducting needs assessments, showcasing product features and finishes, and creating tailored room layouts or concepts.

Consultant coordinates with internal teams on orders, deliveries, and installations,



ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience. Daily activities also include maintaining visual merchandising standards, updating product knowledge, capturing customer feedback, and supporting local marketing or customer engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Customer engagement and consultation skills, including active listening, needs assessment, and solution-oriented communication.
- Interior styling and space planning abilities, with a strong sense of aesthetics, color coordination, and furniture layout design.
- Sales and retail skills, such as lead conversion, upselling and cross-selling, and managing the full customer lifecycle in a showroom environment.
- Technical proficiency with digital tools, including POS or CRM systems, basic design or layout software, and standard office applications.
- Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Prior experience in furniture, home décor, interior consulting, or premium retail is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, including weekends and retail peak hours, with a customer-centric and ethical approach.
