Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Home Automation KNX Technician role based in Hyderabad. The technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining KNX-based home automation systems in residential projects, ensuring reliable performance and user-friendly operation. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, programming KNX devices, integrating lighting, climate, and media controls, and conducting system testing and troubleshooting.

The role involves collaborating with designers, project managers, and other technicians to execute installations according to project specifications and timelines.



The technician will also provide basic user training, respond to service requests, and document configurations and changes for ongoing support.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in KNX system installation, configuration, and programming, including working with KNX tools and devices.
- Candidates should possess skills in electrical wiring, low-voltage systems, and safe handling of tools and equipment in residential environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving hardware and software issues in home automation setups.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading technical drawings, understanding schematics, and following project documentation and standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in customer communication, explaining system features clearly, and providing on-site training and support.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with other home automation platforms or smart devices (lighting controls, HVAC integration, audiovisual systems) is an advantage.
- Ability to work in office in Hyderabad, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
