Role Overview The HR Head will lead the overall HR function for all the locations, driving both strategic and operational HR initiatives. This role will be responsible for building a high-performance culture, aligning people strategies with business goals, and ensuring seamless HR operations. As a key member of the leadership team, the HR Head will act as a strategic partner to business leaders while ensuring compliance, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Define and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on organizational design and talent strategy.
- Drive transformation initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
2. Employee Engagement & Retention
- Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, productivity and retention.
- Establish mechanisms to understand employee sentiment and address organisational concerns.
- Design retention strategies for critical and high-performing talent.
- Drive employee communication and leadership-connect programmes.
3. Performance Management
- Own the organisation-wide performance management framework.
- Establish effective KRAs/KPIs for technical, project and corporate functions.
- Drive goal setting, performance reviews, calibration and performance improvement processes.
- Align performance management with business outcomes and career progression.
4. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour and employment laws.
- Establish robust HR policies, employee-handbook frameworks and disciplinary processes.
- Manage employee relations and workplace grievances.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams on employment-related matters.
- Maintain appropriate HR documentation,
records and governance.
5. Learning & Development
- Identify capability gaps across BIM and engineering disciplines.
- Develop technical, managerial and leadership development programmes.
- Establish career-development frameworks and competency matrices.
- Build leadership pipelines and succession plans for critical positions.
- Support continuous upskilling in BIM technologies, digital engineering and emerging AEC technologies.
6. Organisation Development
- Lead organisational restructuring, workforce optimisation and change-management initiatives.
- Drive initiatives around culture, leadership effectiveness and organisational capability.
- Support business expansion, new offices, acquisitions or integration initiatives where required.
7. HR Analytics & Technology
- Develop and supervise HR dashboards and people analytics for management decision-making.
- Track metrics such as:
- Headcount and manpower utilisation
- Attrition and retention
- Absenteeism
- Employee engagement
- Training effectiveness
- Compensation costs
- Internal mobility
- Drive effective use of HRMS, performance-management and learning platforms.
8. Culture & Employer Branding
- Strengthen the organisation's employee value proposition.
- Build a culture focused on innovation, accountability, collaboration and continuous learning.
- Represent the organisation in relevant industry, talent and employer-branding forums.
- Work in a energetic, innovation-driven environment with global exposure.
Requirements
- Should have 18 – 20 years of experience.
- Should have experience in the engineering/software-outsourcing industry, preferably with as much relevant experience as possible.
- Should have spent at least 02 years in this role at a multinational company (MNC) with more than 400 employees.
