? Hiring | Oracle HCM Technical Consultant – Fast Formula

Birlasoft Ltd. is looking for experienced Oracle HCM Technical Consultants with strong expertise in Oracle Fast Formula and Oracle Cloud HCM technical solutions.

? Role: Oracle HCM Technical Consultant – Fast Formula

? Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize and maintain Oracle HCM Fast Formulas based on business requirements.
- Work across Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Absence, Payroll, Time and Labor (OTL), Compensation and Benefits.
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Fast Formula.
- Develop formulas for:
- Payroll calculations
- Absence accruals and validations
- OTL/time calculations
- Eligibility and validation rules
- Compensation calculations
- Benefits and other HCM processes
- Debug and troubleshoot Fast Formula errors and calculation issues.
- Work closely with Functional Consultants to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Support SIT, UAT and production activities.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines.
- Prepare technical design documents, formula specifications and technical documentation.




- Support data migration and integrations where Fast Formula is involved.
- Participate in client discussions and provide technical recommendations.

? Required Skills

✅ 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Technical

✅ Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fast Formula

✅ Strong understanding of Quick Formula syntax, contexts, database items and functions

✅ Experience developing complex formulas for Oracle HCM modules

✅ Good understanding of Core HR / Absence / Payroll / OTL

✅ Experience with debugging and troubleshooting formulas

✅ Strong understanding of Oracle HCM data structures

✅ Experience working with Functional and Technical teams

✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

⭐ Good to Have

- Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud integrations
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs
- Experience with HDL/HSDL
- Knowledge of OTBI / BI Publisher
- Exposure to Oracle HCM Extracts
- Experience with Oracle Redwood HCM
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification
- Experience in global/multi-country Oracle HCM implementations

We are looking for candidates who have strong hands-on Fast Formula development experience, rather than candidates with only functional exposure to Oracle HCM.
