Birlasoft Ltd. is looking for experienced Oracle HCM Technical Consultants with strong expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud Data Migration, including HDL, HSDL and HCM Extracts.

? Key Responsibilities

- Lead and execute Oracle HCM Cloud data migration activities for implementation and transformation projects.
- Design and develop data migration solutions using HDL (HCM Data Loader) and HSDL (HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader).
- Analyze source-system data and map it to Oracle HCM Cloud structures.
- Prepare data mapping documents, transformation rules and migration templates.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation and validation.
- Develop and execute HDL files for:
- Worker and Person Data
- Work Relationships
- Assignments
- Jobs and Positions
- Departments
- Locations
- Grades
- Organizations
- Compensation
- Absence
- Other HCM objects
- Validate migrated data and perform reconciliation between source and target systems.
- Troubleshoot HDL errors and perform root-cause analysis.
- Manage multiple migration cycles including Mock Migration, SIT, UAT, Dress Rehearsal and Production Migration.
- Coordinate with Functional Consultants and business stakeholders to resolve data-related issues.




- Support data migration cutover and Go-Live activities.
- Prepare technical documentation, migration strategy and data validation reports.

? Required Skills

✅ 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM Cloud Technical

✅ Strong hands-on experience in HDL and HSDL

✅ Solid understanding of Oracle HCM data structures and business objects

✅ Experience in end-to-end HCM Data Migration

✅ Strong experience in data mapping, transformation and validation

✅ Hands-on experience troubleshooting HDL errors

✅ Good understanding of Core HR

✅ Experience with employee/person, assignment and workforce structure data

✅ Solid analytical and problem-solving skills

✅ Ability to work closely with Functional, Technical and Business teams

⭐ Good to Have

- Experience with HCM Extracts
- Knowledge of BI Publisher / OTBI
- Experience with Oracle HCM integrations
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs
- Experience with SQL and data analysis
- Exposure to Fast Formula
- Experience with Oracle HCM Payroll, Absence, OTL or Compensation data migration
- Exposure to Oracle Redwood HCM
- Experience in global/multi-country implementations
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification
