Role Description The Hardware Technician role at PARK360 is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat.

The Hardware

Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining parking management hardware such as sensors, controllers, barriers, and printers. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues, and troubleshooting hardware malfunctions to minimize downtime. The role involves providing technical support to field teams and clients, coordinating with software and operations staff to resolve system-related problems, and documenting all service activities.





The technician will also assist in hardware upgrades, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and support deployments at new parking sites.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in hardware installation and configuration for field devices and parking equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in hardware support and technical support for maintaining and servicing deployed systems.
- Candidates should possess troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware and connectivity issues.
- Candidates should possess printer support skills, including setup, maintenance, and repair of ticketing or receipt printers.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in electronics, computer hardware, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience working with IoT devices, access control systems, or similar infrastructure is an advantage.
- Ability to read technical documentation, follow installation procedures, and maintain accurate service records.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work on-site in outdoor or parking environments.
