Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Graduate Student role based in Hyderabad.

The Graduate

Student will support legal teams with research on statutes, case law, regulatory frameworks, and commercial transactions relevant to African markets. Daily tasks include drafting and reviewing basic legal documents, preparing summaries and reports, and assisting with due diligence and document management. The role also involves collaborating with senior lawyers on client matters, organizing case files, and maintaining accurate records.

The Graduate

Student will be encouraged to develop practical legal skills,



participate in internal training, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the firm.

Qualifications

- Strong legal research and writing skills, with the ability to analyze statutes, case law, and regulatory materials clearly and accurately.
- Competence in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including memoranda, reports, correspondence, and basic transactional documents.
- Ability to manage documentation and case files in an organized, detail-oriented manner, using digital tools and databases where required.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the capacity to work closely with senior lawyers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated interest in commercial law, corporate transactions, and regulatory issues affecting African markets.
- Relevant academic background, such as current enrollment in or recent completion of a law degree (LL.B or equivalent).
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a rapid-paced, intellectually demanding environment.
