Your Role

As a GCP Backend & Integration Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native backend applications and enterprise integration solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, GraphQL, microservices, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems to enable seamless integration across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, OSS/BSS systems, data platforms, and external partner ecosystems.

You will leverage GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Cloud Functions, App Engine, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, Apigee, and API Gateway, while using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and CI/CD tools to automate infrastructure and application deployments. The role also involves ensuring application scalability, availability, security, performance, and reliability across production-grade cloud environments.

- Design, build, and manage scalable and secure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform, GKE/Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, and Cloud Build.
- Implement AIOps and observability solutions for intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, event correlation, and automated Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Configure and manage monitoring solutions using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry.
- Develop automation using Python, Shell scripting, REST APIs, JSON, and YAML to reduce manual operational activities.




- Build automated remediation and self-healing workflows to improve platform availability and reliability.
- Integrate monitoring and cloud platforms with ITSM, CMDB, ticketing, and service-management systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, cloud, operations, and telecom teams to troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous platform improvement.

Your Profile

- Strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud platform engineering, and production environments.
- Expertise in GKE/Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Valuable experience with AIOps and observability, including monitoring, event correlation, anomaly detection, automated RCA, and self-healing.
- Hands-on knowledge of Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
- Strong automation and scripting skills using Python, Shell/Bash, REST APIs, JSON, and YAML.
- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
- Good understanding of GCP networking, IAM, security, DevOps, SRE, and cloud governance practices.
- Exposure to Vertex AI, AI/ML-driven operations, Telecom OSS/NOC, or Service Assurance would be an added advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
