Company Description DigitalConcierge is a live, multi-tenant AI SaaS platform that ingests Instagram comments via Meta's Graph API. It is powered by Crest (a Python intelligence service for competitor and audience analysis) and a governed design-system repository.

The platform is live in production on Azure with an active CI/CD pipeline featuring slot-swap deploys and automatic rollbacks. You will be Engineer #2, working directly alongside the founders across three repositories with high autonomy and an honest, detailed backlog.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

- Browser-Level Testing: Build out Playwright critical-journey and accessibility test coverage for
- login, onboarding, capability gating, safety reviews, and agent streaming.
- Code Quality Gates: Establish and hold Python quality standards using Ruff/mypy ratchets, incremental typing at boundaries, and decomposition of high-complexity hotspots.
- Reliability & DR: Define the reliability contract (SLIs, SLOs, error budgets) and execute a timed, evidenced disaster-recovery drill against production PostgreSQL.
- API Maturation: Maintain OpenAPI 3.1 specs with a drift gate, implement schema-driven contract tests in CI, and build scoped per-account machine authentication backed by a threat model.
- Unit Economics: Build a durable tenant cost-allocation ledger linking platform usage to invoices for automated pricing.
- Roadmap Delivery: Ship an Entra-protected internal control plane, Meta Advanced Access permissions, an agentic campaign studio, and a shared design system.
- Full Ownership: Handle deployment, observability,



incident response, and key architectural calls across multi-tenancy, LLM safety, platform policies, and Azure spend.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Full-Stack Depth: Substantial production experience writing both Python web backends and
- modern React/TypeScript frontends.
- Relational Database Mastery: Deep understanding of schema design, query performance, and zero-downtime migration strategies (e.g., expand/contract patterns).
- Production Operations: Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud applications and CI/CD pipelines (Azure preferred, but transferable skills welcome).
- Multi-Tenant Instincts: An instinct for multi-tenant safety—constantly checking if queries, joins, and data access are strictly scoped to the correct account.
- High Autonomy & Backbone: Comfort operating with minimal supervision, working from written standards, and the confidence to push back when a standard is wrong.
- Evidence-Driven Mindset: AI-assisted development is standard here, but code must be rigorously verified; a grep hit isn't a bug report, and "plausible" isn't production-ready.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- LLM Engineering: Structured outputs, prompt hardening, safety gating, eval harnesses, and
- latency/cost optimization.
- Graph & Security: Cypher/Neo4j experience; familiarity with security frameworks (ASVS, threat modeling, SAST/DAST).
- Browser Automation: Advanced Playwright testing with strict flake budget management.
- Integrations & IaC: Experience with Meta Graph API, OAuth 2.0 lifecycles, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), and FinOps practices.

Commitment & Hours

- Initial Phase: Part-time (~20 hours/week) during probation.
- Scaling: Transition to full time (~40 hours/week) upon successful completion of probation.
