Theta is our platform. We're a small team in Coimbatore, and you'll work directly with the founders.

The role

Own features end to end, from the UI through the API to the database.

What you'll do

- Build features across a React frontend and Python backend, including UI, APIs, database schema and automated tests
- Build customer-facing modules: portfolio, performance reporting, goal tracking and transaction history
- Contribute to core computation services alongside the quantitative team
- Develop scheduled jobs for transaction processing and notifications
- Integrate market data aggregators and broker platforms
- Deploy, monitor and support applications in production
- AI and agentic workflows
- We use LLMs in production and are expanding their use. You will:
- Build agentic workflows with tool-use loops, multi-step reasoning and retrieval over market and portfolio data
- Work with LLM APIs: tool definitions, structured outputs, prompt design, context and cost management




- Set up evaluation processes so model changes are measured before release
- Judge where an LLM fits and where a deterministic rule is better
- Prior LLM production experience is a plus, not a requirement

What we're looking for

- 1–4 years of experience building web applications, with exposure to both frontend and backend
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript with React, and in Python
- Solid SQL, database design and indexing
- Experience deploying and supporting apps in the cloud
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and data providers
- Experience writing automated tests and working in an existing codebase
