Role Description The Full Stack Engineer role at LawyerLinked is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that power the LawyerLinked platform, working across both front-end and back-end components. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, optimizing performance, integrating APIs, ensuring application security, and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver user-friendly experiences.

The role also involves troubleshooting issues, writing clean and testable code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of the overall architecture.

Engineer will be expected to work closely with cross-functional colleagues to ensure reliable, scalable solutions that support the company’s mission of connecting people to the right legal experts.

Qualifications

- Robust proficiency in front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks (such as React, Vue, or Angular), HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in back-end development using server-side languages and frameworks (such as Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET) and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and experience with data modeling, queries, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git), CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of web application security best practices, testing methodologies, and debugging tools.
- Ability to translate product requirements into technical solutions and to work effectively with design and product teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience building scalable platforms or marketplaces is a plus; exposure to legal-tech or service-matching platforms is beneficial.
