Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

- Build and improve production AI agents
- Design multi-turn conversational workflows
- Build LLM tool/function calling and structured outputs
- Build backend APIs and integrations
- Develop frontend and internal engineering tools
- Design conversation state and context management
- Build retrieval and knowledge systems
- Work with SQL databases, caching, and queues
- Build human handover and escalation workflows
- Create AI evals and automated regression tests
- Build guardrails to prevent hallucinations and unsafe actions
- Improve latency, reliability, and AI inference costs
- Build logging, tracing, and observability for AI decisions
- Handle authentication, authorization, and sensitive customer data securely
- Help architect systems for increasing traffic and conversation volume
