Role Overview The French Language Teacher Facilitator will be responsible for designing and facilitating engaging, age-appropriate French language learning experiences across different grade levels within a Cambridge Pathway school.

The Facilitator will adopt a learner-centred approach that encourages communication, curiosity, cultural awareness, collaboration and independent learning. The role will involve supporting learners across proficiency levels and progressively developing their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

Minimum Educational Qualification

· Bachelor’s degree in French / French Language / French Studies or an equivalent recognised qualification.

· B.Ed. / recognised teacher-training qualification is preferred.

· Demonstrable proficiency in French, preferably at CEFR B2/C1 level or above; C1 level is preferred for a Facilitator teaching across the senior grades.

· For candidates expected to teach Cambridge IGCSE French, a strong academic and linguistic command of French with relevant secondary-school teaching experience is preferred.





· Cambridge/IGCSE training or experience will be an added advantage.

Experience

· Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a school or comparable educational setting is preferred.

· Experience teaching French across multiple age groups or proficiency levels will be an advantage.

· Experience in a Cambridge, IB or other international curriculum environment is desirable.
