Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Coimbatore.

The Fashion

Designer will develop concepts and collections, create sketches and technical drawings, and select fabrics, trims, and embellishments aligned with brand aesthetics. Daily responsibilities include working with pattern makers and tailors on fit and construction, overseeing samples, and refining designs based on feedback and fittings. The role also involves collaborating with production teams to ensure designs are feasible, maintaining quality standards, and staying updated on trends, textiles, and market demands.

The Fashion

Designer will contribute to seasonal planning,



assist in lookbook or catalog development, and support brand presentations as needed.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Fashion Design and Fashion concepts, including sketching, silhouette development, and collection planning.
- Knowledge of Textiles and Embroidery, with the ability to select appropriate fabrics, materials, and embellishments for various designs.
- Experience with Fitting processes, garment construction basics, and collaboration with pattern makers and tailors.
- Proficiency in design tools (such as Adobe Illustrator or similar), and the ability to create explicit technical drawings or spec sheets.
- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in apparel design.
- Attention to detail, strong sense of aesthetics, and ability to work within brand guidelines and timelines.
- Effective communication, teamwork skills, and willingness to work on-site with cross-functional teams in Coimbatore.
- Industry experience with ready-to-wear or contemporary fashion, and familiarity with production processes, is an advantage.
