Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Executive Engineer role based in Solapur.

The Executive

Engineer will oversee day-to-day technical operations of solar power plants, including monitoring performance, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include supervising installation and commissioning work, troubleshooting equipment and system issues, and supporting optimization of plant output and reliability. The role involves preparing technical reports, maintaining documentation, coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders, and supporting project planning and execution.

The Executive

Engineer will also participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and asset life cycle.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in electrical, mechanical, or renewable energy engineering, with the ability to apply core engineering principles to solar power plant operations.
- Experience in solar or power plant commissioning, operations, and maintenance, including familiarity with inverters, transformers, switchgear, and related equipment.
- Proficiency in using monitoring and diagnostic tools for performance analysis, fault identification, and root cause investigation.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices for utility-scale solar installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, single-line diagrams, specifications, and equipment manuals.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills, including preparing reports, maintaining logs, and tracking maintenance activities.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with site teams, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related discipline); relevant professional certifications in solar or power systems are an advantage.
- Prior experience in utility-scale solar projects or power utilities is preferred; willingness to work on-site in Solapur and in field conditions is required.
