About The Tech Planner The Tech Planner (TTP) is a B2B SaaS platform built for India's wedding and event planning industry. Our tool helps professional event planners manage RSVPs, guest communication, accommodation and logistics, and vendor coordination — all through a WhatsApp-native workflow that replaces the spreadsheets and scattered chats planners rely on today. We're a fast-growing, founder-led startup bringing technology and structure to an industry driven by emotion, trust, and last-minute chaos.

The Role

We're looking for an Event Operations Associate who wants to build a career in the event and wedding industry. You'll work directly with event planners / clients and take ownership of the RSVP process for live events — managing guest lists, coordinating communication and keeping guest information accurate. Full training on TTP's software will be provided.

What You'll Do

- Coordinate with event planners / clients to understand event requirements and timelines
- Manage, organise and update guest lists on the TTP platform
- Execute RSVP campaigns and send WhatsApp messages / reminders to guests
- Track RSVP responses, follow-ups, travel details and other guest information as required




- Coordinate changes with the planner / client and ensure the guest database stays accurate
- Monitor the RSVP process, flag pending actions or issues and ensure timely completion
- Maintain professional communication with planners / clients throughout the project

What We're Looking For

- Freshers or early-career professionals looking to enter the event industry
- Candidates from Event Management, Hospitality, Hotel Management, Mass Communication or related backgrounds
- Genuine interest in weddings, events, planning and coordination
- Strong communication, organisation and follow-up skills
- Detail-oriented, responsible and comfortable working independently
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn current software
- Prior work experience is not mandatory.

Training & Growth

You will receive training on the TTP software and get hands-on exposure to real wedding and event projects. Since TTP is a startup, strong performers who are interested can also get opportunities to learn and work across functions such as Product, Sales, Marketing and Operations.

Engagement Details

Engagement- Project-based

Compensation ₹5,000 – ₹20,000 per project, depending on scope of work

Work Model Hybrid / primarily remote

Office Kolkata — approximately once a week

Working Days & Hours Flexible and project-dependent
