Role Description The Electrician – Crowne Plaza Kochi is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This role is responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work across guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and hotel facilities. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of lighting, power distribution, and related systems.

The Electrician will support preventive maintenance programs, comply with safety and regulatory standards,



and coordinate with the engineering and maintenance team to minimize downtime and enhance guest comfort. The role may involve working in shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support continuous hotel operations.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Electricity and basic Electrical Engineering principles applicable to hotel facilities.
- Hands-on experience in Electrical Work, including installation, wiring, and panel work.
- Proficiency in Maintenance & Repair of electrical fixtures, equipment, and systems.
- Ability to perform systematic Troubleshooting of electrical faults and safety issues.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in electrical trade; licensing as per local regulations preferred.
- Understanding of safety protocols, electrical codes, and compliance standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in hospitality, commercial buildings, or similar environments is an advantage.
