Role Description This is a full-time, on-site ELV Design Engineer role based in Chennai. The ELV Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and detailing ELV and IBMS systems, including preparation of drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for projects. Daily activities include reviewing project requirements, performing load and system calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client specifications.

The role involves working closely with project managers and other engineers to support project execution, conducting design reviews,



and providing technical support during installation and commissioning. The engineer will also contribute to value engineering, cost optimization, and continuous improvement of design methodologies and templates.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Design Engineering and Product Design skills for ELV and IBMS projects.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering expertise to support HVAC BMS and related building services designs.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge for power, control, and low-voltage system integration.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed layouts, schematics, and 3D models.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field).
- Experience in ELV/IBMS design (e.g., CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, home automation) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of applicable codes, standards, and best practices for building services and low-voltage systems.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai and manage multiple projects within deadlines.
