Role Description The Electrical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for solar power plants. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, and schematics; sizing and selecting electrical components; and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves performing load calculations, power distribution planning, and grid-interconnection studies, as well as collaborating with civil and mechanical teams to integrate electrical designs into overall plant configurations.

The Electrical Design





Engineer will prepare technical documentation, review drawings, support project execution, and coordinate with vendors and clients to address technical requirements and design queries.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Design and Design Engineering for solar power plants.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Power Distribution and related system planning.
- Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience with solar PV system design, grid-connected systems, and applicable standards (e.g., IEC, IS, NEC) is beneficial.
- Proficiency in design and drafting tools (such as AutoCAD, PV design software, and MS Office) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
