Your Tasks –

Design and develop drivetrain components and assemblies, including gearbox peripherals, axles, gears, and shafts, using CATIA V5.

Perform concept development, packaging studies, design feasibility, and support testing activities.





Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers for engineering changes, product releases, and documentation.

Ensure designs meet GD&T;, manufacturing, quality, and product development requirements.

To ensure that you will-

- Design and develop drivetrain components like gearbox peripherals, axle, gear, shaft and associated assemblies.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models in CATIA V5.
- Perform packaging studies, concept development and design feasibility investigation.
- Collaboration with cross functional teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Support engineering change management, release process and product documentation.

Your qualification/ minimum requirements -

- Experience: 2 to 4 years
- BE / B.Tech / M.E / M. Tech: Mechanical / Automobile
- Strong knowledge of automotive system and components.
- Experience in Casting and Sheetmetal design and manufacturing Process.
- Testing Knowledge: Understanding of drivetrain system and component-level testing.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 for 2D drawing and 3D modelling.
- Knowledge of PLM tools like Windchill / Enovia.
- Good understanding GD&T; geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Proficiency in MS Tools SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Product development Life Cycle.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willing to travel internationally for business requirements.
- Basic understanding of AI tools.
- Drivetrain design engineer with expertise in CATIA V5 2D & 3D, Casting & Sheet Metal Design, Product Development Processes, GD&T;
