Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dispatch role based in Vishakhapatnam. The dispatch professional will coordinate daily shipments, assign and schedule vehicles, and ensure accurate and timely dispatch of goods in line with customer and business requirements.

Responsibilities include monitoring delivery progress, updating shipment status, resolving routing and scheduling issues, and maintaining clear communication with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers. The role involves preparing and verifying dispatch documentation, maintaining records in logistics systems, and adhering to safety and compliance standards.



The dispatch team member will also support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability in day-to-day logistics operations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid logistics and dispatch coordination skills, including route planning, load scheduling, and basic knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations.
- Candidates should possess solid administrative and documentation skills, such as maintaining dispatch records, preparing shipment documents, and updating tracking systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with drivers, operations staff, and customers, and to handle queries, delays, and exceptions professionally.
- Candidates should possess problem-solving and time-management skills to manage multiple dispatches, prioritize urgent deliveries, and respond quickly to operational challenges.
- Candidates should possess basic computer proficiency, including use of MS Office tools and, preferably, exposure to logistics or ERP software.
- Relevant experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or supply chain operations is beneficial; experience within transportation or freight management environments is a plus.

- A diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is preferred, along with a willingness to work in shift-based schedules if required.
