Key Responsibilities The Director role centers around lead generation, ability to present and sell sophisticated and high value advisory work, building strong client relationships and managing cases. In addition to being client interfacing, the Director spends time mentoring staff and ensuring that our engagements align with client needs, present and in the future. This role requires drive, adaptability and commitment to build on Mintz Group’s capabilities, globally and locally with commitment to delivering high-quality results that support Mintz Group’s mission to help clients stay on the right side of history.

Business Development & Client Relationship Management

- Actively contribute to and lead business development activities across Mintz Group practice areas
- Support origination targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with private equity, sovereign funds, strategics,



law firms or recruitment firms
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating Complex or special situations and opportunities
- Manage client expectations and provide strategic recommendations during investigations.
- Coordinate client outreach efforts and business development initiatives via Hubspot and other internal tools.

Leadership and Mentorship:

- Provide expert-level guidance and training to staff across titles and practices.
- Mentor and sponsor colleagues, fostering their career progression.
- Promote collaboration and information sharing within the team.

Investigative Oversight:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Manage client expectations and provide strategic and operational oversight during engagements.
- Develop and implement innovative methodologies to improve research processes including on-boarding new databases, tools and technologies.
- Enhance field and expert networks for intelligence gathering.
- Uphold ethical and skilled standards in all client-facing deliverables

Strategic Contributions:

- Contribute to the development of new service offerings and business strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client experiences.

Communication and collaboration

- Communicate consistently and collaboratively multiple stakeholders worldwide.

What Makes You a Great Fit

Our ideal candidate has a mix of capabilities including excellent research and writing skills, strong leadership capabilities and a great knowledge of the region. We will be looking to see a strong record of leading complex cases and clear examples of effective client management and business development activities.

The ideal candidate will likely have the following:

- Experience:



Ideally we will be seeking candidates with more than 8 years of experience in the Investigations industry for this position.
- Technical Investigative skills: Mastery of investigative methodologies, sub-contractor handling and networks and exposure to different jurisdictions
- Business Development: Track record of contributing to revenue growth and business development strategies and an overall entrepreneurial mindset
- Investigative Leadership: Expertise in directing complex, multi-jurisdictional investigations alongside proven experience guiding investigative strategy and mitigating risks.
- Presentation and Engagement: Strong ability to present investigative findings to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Leadership and Mentorship: Good management skills with a demonstrable background in team success and individual development and leading by example
- Communication: Clear communicator who can explain technical tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Educational Background: Bachelor degree will be required. Advanced degree preferred. Additional languages is a plus.

This role involves a hybrid work setup, candidates are required to live in or near Mumbai.
