Role Description The DevOps Lead is a full time, hybrid role based in Coimbatore, with flexibility for partial work-from-home arrangements. This role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes to support software development teams. The DevOps Lead collaborates closely with engineering, QA, and product teams to ensure smooth releases, reliable environments, and robust monitoring and incident response.

Day-to-day responsibilities include optimizing build and deployment workflows, managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, improving test automation and integration practices, and enforcing security and reliability standards. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, documenting processes,



and driving continuous improvement across DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in Software Development and Integration, with the ability to work closely with engineering teams on build, deployment, and release processes.
- Hands-on expertise in Continuous Integration and Test Automation, including designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Solid background in Infrastructure management, such as cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet).
- Experience implementing observability solutions, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including secrets management, access control, and secure deployment processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring, technical guidance, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a diverse, collaborative environment.
