Key Responsibilities

- Establish assembly and detail requirements for boiler and environmental equipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards.
- Produce design, erection arrangement, assembly, and detail drawings as required to support contracts and proposals.
- Coordinate technical design activities with engineering and project/proposal management to support timely information flow and completion of all phases of work.
- Perform standard calculations in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure drawings comply with proposal or contract specifications and applicable standards, including checks for interferences with B&W; and customer-supplied equipment.
- Verify drawing accuracy for dimensions, fits, tolerances, and equipment interfaces.
- Respond to customer questions and support resolution of technical clarifications related to detailing deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- Engineering diploma with 8+ years of experience, or graduate engineer with 5+ years of experience in mechanical or civil engineering.
- CAD training is required.
- SolidWorks experience is required; AutoCAD experience is an added advantage.

Experience with other 2D or 3D CAD packages is also preferred.
