Key Responsibilities:
Design Management
- Lead and manage the architectural design process for corporate workplace and commercial fit-out projects.
- Review client requirements, project briefs, and workplace strategies.
- Coordinate concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation phases.
- Ensure design deliverables meet project objectives, quality standards, and client expectations.
- Conduct design reviews and value engineering exercises.
- Coordinate with MEP, Structural, AV, IT, Security, Fire & Life Safety, and specialist consultants.
- Ensure multidisciplinary design integration and clash-free documentation.
- Monitor consultant deliverables and adherence to project schedules.
- Facilitate design workshops and coordination meetings.
- Act as the primary design interface between the client and project team.
- Present design proposals, layouts, material selections, and design updates.
- Manage client feedback and ensure timely incorporation into design deliverables.
- Support workplace planning and space utilization discussions.
- Develop and monitor design schedules aligned with project milestones.
- Track design progress and identify potential risks or delays.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Support procurement and tendering activities through design clarifications.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and mock-ups.
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is maintained during execution.
- Resolve design-related issues arising during construction.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for design implementation.
- Ensure adherence to corporate design standards and project specifications.
- Verify compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Conduct quality reviews of design documents and drawings.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction managers, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain effective communication among all project stakeholders.
- Prepare design reports, presentations, and status updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture.
- 10–15 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Minimum 5 years managing corporate interior fit-out projects.
- Experience working with PMC, design consultancy, or workplace design firms.
- Exposure to large-scale corporate office, commercial, and workplace projects.
