Role Description The Deputy Branch Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Lucknow, responsible for supporting overall branch operations and business growth. This role includes supervising sales and service teams, driving achievement of branch targets, and ensuring high standards of customer experience and policy servicing.

Manager oversees processes related to policy issuance, claims coordination, and compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.



Day-to-day activities involve monitoring branch performance metrics, implementing local sales and marketing initiatives, mentoring team members, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, corporate partners, and intermediaries. The role also requires preparing reports for senior management, ensuring operational efficiency, and actively contributing to continuous improvement at the branch level.

Qualifications

- Experience in branch operations, sales management, and customer service in insurance or financial services.
- Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and staff coaching.
- Ability to manage targets, analyze branch performance data, and implement corrective action plans.
- Knowledge of health insurance products, basic underwriting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities with customers and partners.
- Proficiency with MS Office and branch management systems; comfort working with digital tools and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance are an advantage.
- Proven ability to work in an on-site, fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and maintain high ethical standards and integrity.
