Job Overview

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable Data Engineer to support data migration, transformation, and data engineering activities for our next-generation Salesforce-powered Conversational Agentic ITSM Platform.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with data, building ETL processes, performing data validation, and supporting enterprise transformation initiatives. You will work alongside Data Engineers, Architects, Salesforce Developers, Integration Developers, and Business Analysts to help migrate and manage data that powers critical Enterprise Service Management processes.

You will play an important role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and availability of data supporting Salesforce, Agentforce, CMDB, IT Asset Management, and enterprise automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Data Migration &

- Transformation

- Support data migration activities from legacy platforms into Salesforce.
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes and data transformation workflows.
- Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities.
- Support migration rehearsals, cutover activities, and validation exercises.
- Assist with data reconciliation and issue resolution activities.

Data Engineering Support

- Build and maintain data pipelines supporting migration and integration initiatives.
- Develop SQL queries, scripts, and automation utilities.
- Support data mapping, transformation, and validation activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across systems.
- Assist with maintenance and optimization of data processes.

Salesforce &

- ITSM Data Support

- Support migration and maintenance of:
- Incident Records
- Service Requests




- Change Records
- Problem Records
- Knowledge Articles
- CMDB Data
- IT Asset Data
- Service Catalog Data
- User and Organizational Information

- Work closely with Salesforce and Integration teams to ensure data readiness and integrity.

Testing &

- Data Validation

- Perform data quality checks and validation activities.
- Support functional, integration, and migration testing efforts.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Document migration results and reconciliation findings.

Collaboration &

- Continuous Improvement

- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, Integration Developers, Business Analysts, and Quality Analysts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and project planning activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and migration artifacts.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Stay current with emerging data engineering and Salesforce technologies.

Required Qualifications

Must Have

- 3–5 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Migration projects.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience working with ETL/ELT tools and data transformation processes.
- Understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation concepts.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
