About Affluense

Affluense is an AI-powered intelligence platform that helps India's wealth management and BFSI firms find and understand high-net-worth individuals. We combine millions of data points from company filings, directorships, news and other public sources to show who is wealthy, how they got there, and when they might need advice. We're seed-funded and growing fast with enterprise customers.

The role

This is a 3-month internship with a full-time offer based on performance. You'll work directly with the founders on real data problems from day one. The work is analytics-first: digging into messy data, finding patterns, and turning them into insights that shape our product. This is not an LLM or chatbot role.

What you'll do

- Explore large, messy datasets (company filings, director networks, funding rounds, news) to find signals of wealth and business activity
- Estimate the wealth of individuals using indirect signals like company ownership, directorships and business performance, often with little or no ground truth
- Identify private companies likely to go public by finding early signals in their filings, funding history and growth
- Clean,



join and validate data from multiple sources, and catch errors before they reach customers
- Present your findings clearly to the founding team

What we're looking for

- Strong Python (pandas) and SQL; comfortable in Excel
- Solid grounding in statistics: distributions, correlation vs causation, sampling bias
- Curiosity about why a number looks the way it does, and the patience to dig until you find out
- Ability to frame vague problems and explain your reasoning simply
- Background in statistics, economics, mathematics, engineering or a related field (final-year students and 2025/2026 graduates welcome)

Good to have

- Prior analytics or data science internship
- Basic ML (regression, classification, clustering), which is helpful but not required
- Kaggle notebooks, case competitions or projects showing exploratory analysis
- Interest in capital markets, IPOs, wealth or Indian business
