About the Opportunity

We are conducting a confidential search for a Senior Director – India Operations to lead a large, multi-functional India Global Capability Centre supporting a global organization.

This is a high-ownership operating leadership role, suited to someone who has built, scaled, transformed or run a complex India GCC/shared-services environment and can operate comfortably across people, operations, compliance, finance, facilities and governance.

The successful leader will have end-to-end accountability for ensuring that the India operation is scalable, compliant, cost-efficient, safe and operationally resilient, while serving as a key partner to senior leadership across India and the US.

What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will bring:

15+ years of progressive leadership experience, including significant experience leading a multi-functional India operation or shared-services/GCC environment.

Strong preference for candidates who have:

- Led an India GCC/shared-services operation of 300+ employees
- Worked in staffing, recruitment, IT services, BPO/GBS or a similar 24x7 operating environment
- Built or scaled an India operation from the ground up
- Managed multiple functional leaders rather than a single HR function
- Transitioned processes from international/global teams into India
- Operated with senior stakeholders across India and the US
- Hands-on understanding of Indian labour law and statutory compliance




- Strong experience with POSH, labour codes, audits and governance
- Managed night-shift operations and employee safety frameworks
- Worked closely with Finance/CFO leadership on budgets, cost and controls
- Led high-volume internal recruitment
- Driven automation, process transformation and operational excellence
