Cloud Engineer

RTAC – Real Time Applications Center

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to manage, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure and hosted applications across RTAC's technology environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and deploy infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Configure and maintain Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, DNS, SSL, and networking.
- Deploy and manage websites, web applications, APIs, and databases.
- Monitor performance, uptime, resource usage, and cloud costs.
- Manage virtual machines, server configurations, backups, and recovery.
- Configure domains, DNS records, SSL certificates, and hosting environments.
- Implement appropriate access controls, security policies, and backup strategies.
- Support application deployments and coordinate with development teams.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking,



and connectivity issues.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and deployment configurations.

Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / Cloud Infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Positive knowledge of Linux/Windows servers and networking.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, and firewalls.
- Experience with cloud hosting, virtual machines, storage, domains, and server deployment.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, Docker, or containerized deployments is an advantage.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, monitoring, and backup practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
