Role Description This is a full-time, Civil Engineer (Estimation) role based in Kochi (Corporate Office). The role involves preparing detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including quantities, materials, labor, and equipment, in line with project specifications and standards.

The Civil

Engineer (Estimation) will review drawings and technical documents, collaborate with design, planning, and project teams, and obtain vendor and subcontractor quotations to support accurate bid proposals. Daily tasks include analyzing project risks and cost impacts, updating estimation databases,



supporting tender submissions, and assisting in value engineering to optimize project costs. The role also requires coordination with site teams to compare estimated versus actual costs, ensuring continuous improvement in estimation accuracy and supporting management in commercial decision-making.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering principles.
- Candidates should possess skills relevant to Civil Engineers, including site coordination and project documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Planning, scheduling, and cost estimation for civil projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Stormwater Management and related infrastructure design and assessment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Previous experience in estimation, quantity surveying, or project costing for industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in estimation and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, quantity take-off tools); familiarity with ERP or project management systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and safety practices in civil engineering and industrial construction environments.
